Discover a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment as a Paraprofessional assisting a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave placement. This contract role offers the chance to work full-time in a collaborative setting, contributing to student success from now until November 11, 2026. You'll be instrumental in helping students achieve their communication goals and ensuring a seamless experience during the SLP's leave.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possess an Associate’s degree or have completed at least 60 credit hours
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Reliable, organized, and adaptable to changing needs
  • Comfortable utilizing technology to support virtual services
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a genuine passion for helping students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the Virtual SLP and students during sessions
  • Assist with preparation of materials and activities as directed by the SLP
  • Facilitate student participation and engagement in virtual and in-person settings
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with day-to-day classroom and therapeutic needs
  • Ensure a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Please note: This paraprofessional placement is contingent upon hiring a maternity leave Speech-Language Pathologist for the duration of the assignment.
