Manual Lathe Machine Grind Operator

• Set up and operate manual lathe machines to grind and shape metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
• Proven experience operating manual lathe machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
