Support students in a dynamic educational environment near Englewood, CO, in a vital contract role working with Transition Services for young adults, ages 18–21+. This position focuses on assisting individuals with disabilities as they gain independence and life skills within the school and community settings. If you have a solid behavioral background, especially in school settings, and are committed to making a difference, this role offers a rewarding challenge for the right candidate.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of two completed professional RefAssured references (must be submitted at presentation)
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral support, ideally with significant/severe caseloads
  • Previous experience supporting students/young adults with disabilities, particularly transition-age individuals (18–21+)
  • Familiarity with communication devices is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to assist students with toileting and diapering as required
  • Fingerprinting and background check required immediately following offer; any charges may disqualify candidates
  • Reliable personal transportation to ensure punctual start (no ride sharing or public transportation considered acceptable)
  • Daily readiness to report to work by 8:00am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist young adult students in classroom, campus, and community settings, providing personalized behavioral and educational support
  • Foster independence and skill development through structured routines and flexible, supportive interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and related service staff to implement individualized plans
  • Support students in developing communication and life skills using adaptive technologies
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere and respond effectively to behavioral needs

This opportunity provides the chance to make a significant impact in a specialized educational setting while working full-time—37.5 hours per week—from August 11 through May 21, 2027.
