Intervention Specialist (Columbus, OH)

 DescriptionSeeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students for the 2026–2027 school year running ASAP through May 21, 2027. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week working in a resource classroom environment across grades 3–6.

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction and intervention for elementary students (grades 3–6) with mild-to-moderate learning disabilities in a resource setting.

• Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), monitoring student goals and ensuring full compliance with state standards.

• Facilitate classroom routines, track academic progress, and implement effective learning strategies tailored to student needs.

• Collaborate with school staff, interdisciplinary team members, and parents to support holistic student growth.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist (OH IS) Teaching Certification.

• Experience writing IEPs, managing caseloads, and providing resource room instruction for elementary grades.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
