The schedule runs from 8:15am to 2:50pm each school day, giving you consistent and predictable hours. You’ll enjoy two short breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day, ensuring you have the time you need to recharge.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school settings
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to facilitate ASL communication for young children
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting students with unique needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and school staff
• Clear communication skills and a caring approach when working with young children
• Current background check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 ASL support to a kindergarten student throughout the school day
• Assist in both academic and social settings to ensure full inclusion
• Communicate regularly with teaching staff regarding the student's progress and needs
• Encourage the student’s independence, engagement, and self-confidence
• Contribute positively to the classroom environment
