Special Education Para Professional in Littleton, CO

Assignments may be at elementary or high schools and run from August 11 through May 21, 2027, with placement hours ranging from approximately 26 to 37.5 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications:

• At least one full year of direct experience in Special Education classrooms
• Experience with significant or severe student caseloads strongly preferred
• Flexibility to support students across different age groups and sites as needed
• Reliable personal transportation; candidates must be punctual and able to report as early as 7:40am (elementary) or 8:00am (middle/high school)
• Willingness to assist students with personal care, including toileting and diapering, as required
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check (any charges will lead to disqualification)
• Two completed professional RefAssured references are required for submission

• Provide direct assistance to students with diverse needs under the guidance of classroom teachers and SPED staff
• Support positive learning environments, adapting to individual and group requirements
