Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support position, ideally within a school environment
• Demonstrated ability to engage positively with children, particularly in one-on-one settings
• Familiarity with special education, individualized education plans (IEPs), or related areas is a plus
• Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Professionalism and reliability, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, direct support to assigned student(s), adapting instruction and assistance as needed
• Assist with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care (as applicable)
• Implement strategies set by teachers and specialists to help the student reach their educational goals
• Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and report on student progress and challenges to relevant staff members
