Make a positive impact in a supportive school environment as a dedicated paraprofessional, assisting students and collaborating with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The assignment supports a maternity leave position, and placement is contingent upon the selection of the associated SLP. The opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through November 11th, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or a minimum of 60 college credit hours required
  • Previous experience working in an educational or support role preferred
  • Highly organized, flexible, and reliable with excellent communication skills
  • Comfort using technology for virtual collaboration
  • Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students as directed by the virtual SLP and teaching staff
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans and supporting speech therapy activities
  • Supervise and encourage student participation in both virtual and classroom settings
  • Document student progress and communicate updates to the team
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and school staff to ensure student needs are met
