Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 1st Class Pipefitter to lay out, install, and maintain piping systems on marine vessels. This role involves working with systems such as heat and power, hydraulics, air pressure, hot water, and oil lines. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint-reading skills, hands-on experience in a marine environment, and the ability to perform precise, high-quality work alongside a team.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum3 years of pipefitting experience in a marine environment
• Ability toread and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experiencecutting, threading, and installing pipe and fittings
• Ability totest systems for leaks and ensure specifications are met
• Experience usinghand tools and shop machines
• Ability towork effectively with a helper/tacker
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Experience operating acutting torch
• Tack welding experience
• Ability tolay out and bore holes in bulkheads and decks
• Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills in a production environment
• Experience working inshipyards or vessel construction/repair
