Role Summary

Join our Miami-based CPA firm as a Junior Staff Accountant. Gain hands-on experience in tax, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while working with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Challenges:

• Learning and applying complex tax and accounting regulations as an entry-level professional.
• Managing multiple client accounts and meeting tight deadlines during busy seasons.
• Adapting quickly to new software and accounting tools.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing individual and corporate tax returns under supervision.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and clarify accounting data.
• Assist with sales tax filings and support senior staff on audits and special projects.

Must-Have Requirements:

These qualifications are required to be considered for this position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (completed or near completion).
• 0–1 year of accounting experience, including internships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
• Fluency in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• MUST HAVE INDUSTRIES:
• Must have experience in: Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Public Accounting.
