Pharmacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Preparing drugs and executing prescription orders for collection or delivery.
• Maintain records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
• Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions.
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations.
• Supervise the work results of technicians, cashiers, and other pharmacy employees.
• Responsible for leading Front-End Operations including monitoring product displays and inventory, as well as the general appearance of the pharmacy.
• Address customers' requests and concerns.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy employees and scheduling shifts.
• Responsible for opening and closing store procedures.
• Assists payroll process and ensures budget is in line with plan.
• Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to customers by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
