October Start / may float between BBMC and BHH ICUs and PCUs / Potential on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ICU nursing care to triage, monitor, and manage critical patients.

• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.

• Administer medications, monitor responses, and adjust plans per protocol and physician orders.

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care.

• Document procedures, patient progress, and outcomes in electronic health records.

• Ensure on-site presence and availability to respond promptly to emergencies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality initiatives.

• Mentor and support junior staff; demonstrate willingness to learn and grow.

• Meet performance targets using defined pipelines and contribute to territory readiness.

• Provide patient and family education on care plans, procedures, and discharge needs.

• Support contract goals by delivering consistent results in a growth-focused environment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active RN license with ICU or critical care experience.

• Current ACLS certification and BLS certification preferred.

• Proven ability to monitor, triage, and manage critically ill patients in ICU.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation standards.

• Strong infection control practices and patient safety adherence.

• On-site presence and rapid response capability for emergencies.

• Ability to work in a growth-focused, metrics-driven environment.

• Experience mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Strong communication skills for patient/family education and care coordination.

• Familiarity with quality improvement processes and patient care pipelines.
