MAINTENANCE WORKER

Community Mainstreaming is a non-profit human service agency committed to providing services to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead meaningful productive lives within their community. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team!

Locations: Nassau and Suffolk County

Hours: Full Time (Daytime Hours) 

Monday - Friday, some weekends 10am-6pm

We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining multiple residential group homes. Essential duties include, but not limited to: 

• Interior and exterior painting
• Sheetrock and spackle
• Maintaining facility grounds
• Moving and assembling furniture
• Conducting safety checks 

 Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid NYS Driver's License
• Vehicle for reliable transportation
• Must own basic tools
• General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical 
• At least one year in the maintenance field
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
