Shop Technician

Location: Shop-Based Position (No Field Travel Required)

Pay: Starting at $22/hour + Overtime

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, plus on-call every other weekend

High Overtime Opportunity — Average 70–85 hours/week during production weeks

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Cable Splicer to join our Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) team. In this shop-based position, you'll splice, repair, prepare, and spool ESP power cable that keeps oilfield operations running. What You'll Do

• Splice and repair ESP power cable
• Perform cable preparation and termination work
• Operate cable spooling equipment
• Inspect cable for defects and damage
• Maintain shop tools and equipment
• Follow safety and quality control procedures
• Support general shop operations as needed

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy cable and work comfortably in a shop environment
• Willingness to work extended hours, including significant overtime
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic

Schedule Details

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime expected and encouraged
• On-call rotation: every other weekend
• Typical hours: approximately 70 hours/week on lighter weeks, up to approximately 85 hours/week during full production periods
