Custodian

*Job Summary

 

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility. This role ensures that buildings, restrooms, offices, and common areas are cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the waterpark administrative office, including desks, counters, and common surfaces
• Mop office floors and maintain a clean, dry, and safe walking environment
• Vacuum all carpeted areas within the office and designated spaces
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect the public women’s, men’s, and family restrooms
• Replenish restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean, disinfect, and deodorize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions
• Empty trash and sanitary receptacles in office and restroom areas
• Clean all interior windows and glass doors, ensuring they are streak-free
• Spot-clean walls, doors, and high-touch areas
• Monitor and report any maintenance or plumbing issues
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

 

Working Conditions

• Will REQUIRE after hours --evenings and weekends 
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Physical labor including lifting up to 25–50 lbs
• Indoor and occasional outdoor work
