Purchasing Coordinator

• Material Buyouts: Run material buyouts on awarded projects and set pricing standards for smaller jobs.
• Supplier Management: Build relationships with distributors and manufacturers while negotiating master agreements.
• Risk Management: Monitor supply chain concerns, lead times, and potential shortages to build contingency plans.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of purchases, contracts, pricing, and vendor communications for audits.
• Team Support: Serve as a resource or mentor for buyers and purchasing assistants across company branches.

• Experience: 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferably in construction or industrial distribution).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with construction ERP systems like Viewpoint Vista.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical insulation, safety supplies, scaffolding, and rental equipment.
