Project Scheduler (P6)

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Project Scheduler in the San Jose area to lead the scheduling function for large, complex mechanical construction projects and to guide project managers and superintendents through the full scheduling lifecycle.

Impact

• Spot delays before they happen and protect profitability.
• Reduce litigation risk with accurate data and documented recovery strategies.
• Help construction teams hit every milestone.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline P6 schedules across delivery methods.
• Create GMP schedules and monthly progress updates with estimating, project management, and superintendents.
• Perform root cause analysis on schedule impacts and build recovery plans and what-if scenarios.
• Lead time impact analyses and document claims.
• Train staff on scheduling philosophy, P6 operation, and CPM principles.
• Facilitate pull planning and integrate Last Planner into the master schedule.

Must-Haves

• Senior-level Primavera P6 scheduling on large construction projects.
• Experience with time impact analysis and claims documentation.
• Ability to train and lead others in CPM scheduling.

Nice-to-Haves

• PSP or PMI-SP certification.
• Mechanical or MEP contractor background.

Compensation and Logistics
