- Follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled
- Coordinate referrals from optometrists and other providers
- Maintain communication with referring offices
- Track leads, consultations, conversions, and pending decisions
- Discuss financing and payment options when appropriate
- Document every patient interaction accurately
- Coordinate with physicians, technicians, front desk staff, and leadership
- Prevent patients from being lost because of poor follow-up
- Support premium cataract, LASIK, ICL, and dry eye service growth
Within your first 90 days, you should be able to:

- Follow up with every pending patient on schedule
- Explain services clearly without providing medical advice
- Identify patient concerns and escalate clinical questions appropriately
- Maintain accurate notes and tracking
- Meet established scheduling and conversion expectations
- Communicate effectively with referring providers
- Provide a polished, high-touch patient experience
You may be a strong fit if you are:

- Comfortable discussing premium services and financial options
- Organized and persistent
- Empathetic without being passive
- Motivated by measurable results
- Able to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously
- Skilled at overcoming hesitation professionally
- Strong in telephone, text, email, and in-person communication
- Comfortable being held accountable for follow-up and outcomes

- Ophthalmology or optometry experience
- Patient sales or treatment coordination experience

This position will not be a good fit if you:

- Fail to document calls and patient interactions
- Wait for patients to contact you instead of managing the relationship
- Struggle with accountability or performance expectations
- Dislike fast-paced environments
- Are uncomfortable receiving coaching
- Prefer a low-responsibility administrative role
- Work with advanced ophthalmology and vision-correction services
- Help patients make meaningful healthcare decisions
- Build valuable experience in elective healthcare
- Receive structured training
- Work in a professional specialty practice
- Opportunity for performance-based incentives
- Opportunity for advancement into senior coordination or leadership roles
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturdays may be required
- Reliable attendance and timely patient follow-up are mandatory
Submit your resume and a brief response addressing:
- Your experience working with patients or customers
- A time you helped someone make a difficult decision
- How you stay organized when managing multiple follow-ups
