We're seeking a Senior Plumbing Estimator in the San Antonio area to lead estimates on large commercial projects, including high-rise and data center work, for a mechanical contractor growing in Central Texas.

Impact

• Win the marquee projects that establish a contractor in a new market.
• Develop junior estimators as the team grows.
• Protect profit with rigorous cost analysis and risk review.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating on complex commercial projects.
• Guide the estimating team and set standards.
• Develop pricing strategy and market analysis for San Antonio.
• Partner with business development on pursuits.
• Review contract terms for risk.
• Lead preconstruction and design-build estimating.
• Build supplier and specialty subcontractor relationships.
• Improve estimating processes and tools.

Must-Haves

• Eight or more years of senior commercial plumbing estimating.
• A record of winning large competitive bids.
• Strong knowledge of Texas plumbing codes and the San Antonio market.
• Leadership experience with a team.

Nice-to-Haves

• Data center or healthcare project experience.
• Advanced estimating software skills.

Compensation and Logistics
