Safety Manager - Manufacturing & Fabrication

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Safety Manager in the Stockton area to lead the daily safety program at an offsite mechanical manufacturing and fabrication facility.

Impact

• Be the primary on-site safety resource for the whole workforce.
• Eliminate injuries by finding hazards and fixing them.
• Keep the facility a leader in operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections across shop and warehouse areas.
• Monitor compliance with Cal/OSHA and OSHA.
• Lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Partner with production and logistics on forklift safety, machine guarding, and lockout/tagout.
• Maintain documentation and training matrices.

Must-Haves

• Safety leadership in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial facility.
• Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA general industry standards.
• Experience with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and forklift programs.

Nice-to-Haves

• OSHA 30 or ASP/CSP certification.
• Welding and fabrication safety experience.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, and paid time off. Full-time, exempt, in person in Stockton.
