Director of Maintenance

Arcadia in Hillsboro, Texas is currently seeking a Director of Maintenance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE 

As the Director of Maintenance you’ll be responsible for overseeing all full and part-time maintenance staff and the daily operations of the maintenance department. You should review written maintenance requests and coordinate routine maintenance of grounds. you’ll conduct daily tours of the facility for safety surveillance to monitor potentially unsafe work areas, equipment and practices and ensure compliance of Life Safety regulations governing the skilled nursing facilities. you’ll be expected to use your knowledge and skills of plumbing, electrical, roofing and carpentry in the implementation of repair projects and preventive maintenance schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE 

• Previous management experience

• Previous maintenance experience in a long term care facility
