Animal Care Needed

4yr old short hair cat. She is a rescue. I have had her since she was 2 weeks old. She is loving to me on her terms. She is very skiddish around other people. Her back has become very matted. I've tried to take care of the mats but she won't let me. I don't need a fancy grooming job. I just need to have her back shaved.
