Job Title: School Social Worker – High School
Location: Thornton, CO
Type: Full-Time
Shift & Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $45 - $60/hr (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support high school students with mental health, emotional, and academic needs through services outlined in their IEPs.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group mental health services and interventions.
Support students with Mild-Moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, school psychologists, and support staff.
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
Connect students and families with appropriate community resources.
Maintain accurate documentation and student records.
Required Qualifications
Valid School Social Worker certification/licensure or eligibility for Colorado credentials.
Previous school-based experience; high school experience preferred.
Knowledge of Special Education processes and IEP requirements.
Ability to work fully onsite.
