Maintenance technician full time

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time role. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping facilities, equipment, and systems operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and document services performed, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Assist with installation, assembly, and replacement of equipment or components as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts and report needs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with team members, vendors, and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related hands-on role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general repair work.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to support occasional after-hours or weekend needs when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs or work order systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation systems.
• Experience maintaining equipment in commercial, industrial, residential, or institutional settings.
