Tax CPA

• Run and manage the day-to-day operations of the firm
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Meet directly with clients to manage relationships and advise on tax and financial matters
• Occasional bookkeeping support for clients
• Oversee firm workflow, staff, and client service standards

• Review and sign approximately 730 individual and 220 business tax returns annually (S-corp, partnership returns), with seasonal support staff assisting during peak season
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for the firm’s existing client base through and after the ownership transition, via phone/video/email
• Provide tax planning, advisory services, and off-season support including extensions, IRS notices, and audits
• Oversee bookkeeping quality and processes for a small book of monthly bookkeeping clients
• Remotely mentor and train the firm’s in-office client-facing manager on tax fundamentals

• Active CPA license, required
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing business returns (S-corp/partnership)
• Proficiency with professional tax software (UltraTax experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills and comfort managing client relationships remotely
