Job Type: Part-time.
- Schedule: Weekend Shifts (Saturdays & Sundays, 12-hour shifts) + Weekday Shifts (4 hours during the week).

Attentive Heart of Care is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and experienced independent Direct Support Provider (DSP) to provide personalized care and support for a 23-year-old male with Autism.
Attentive Heart of Care is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and experienced independent Direct Support Provider (DSP) to provide personalized care and support for a 23-year-old male with Autism.
This contract opportunity is vital for supporting the client's health, safety, and independence within both home and community environments. As an independent contractor, you will deliver respectful, person-centered services aimed at enhancing the client's overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor client condition and promptly report changes in health status, behavior, or safety concerns.
- Support community outings and activities to promote independence, inclusion, and social integration.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary needs and client preferences.
- Provide medication reminders and support self-administration as permitted by the care plan and agency policy.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Document services provided accurately, including progress notes and activity logs, in compliance with HIPAA and agency requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures, including CPR/First Aid protocols and incident reporting.
Skills:
- Ability to set appropriate limits and boundaries with clients.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with clients effectively.
- Ability to interact with clients from diverse cultures.
- Ability to observe individuals and report accurate findings.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Ability to work independently.
Qualifications/Required Documentation:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred).
- US work authorization. (U.S. passport or U.S. passport card. Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (this is commonly called a Green Card.) (Preferred).
- CNA or HHA (40 Hours) Certificate (Accepted).
- Valid Driver's License & Social Security Card (Required).
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (Required).
- Auto registration & proof of Auto Insurance (Preferred).
- Liability Insurance (CM&F rate is $69.00/yearly) (Required).
- CEU certificates: HIV/AIDs, Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, Direct Core Competency (I will assist with this) (Required).
- Void check or equivalent (for bi-weekly direct deposit).
- Level 2 and local background check. (Preferred).
- 2 professional references. (Required).
Job Type: Part-time.
Pay: $15 to$16.50 per hour.
Expected hours varies.
