Comfortable Climate Heating, Air & Plumbing is a locally owned HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company serving Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula. We're growing our service team and looking for an experienced HVAC professional who can combine strong residential service skills with hands-on leadership.

This is a field-first leadership role. You'll spend time supporting technicians in the field, helping troubleshoot difficult calls, conducting ride-alongs, coaching technicians, and stepping in on service work when needed. You'll also spend time in the office helping coordinate daily priorities, improve processes, and keep the service team moving in the right direction.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to residential HVAC service technicians
• Perform ride-alongs and field evaluations to coach technicians and improve performance
• Provide hands-on technical support for difficult diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Step into the field to assist with service calls, diagnostics, estimates, and peak-season needs
• Help technicians develop their technical skills, customer communication, and service abilities
• Coordinate daily service priorities, workflow, and technician support
• Monitor workmanship, safety, customer experience, and service quality
• Help identify training needs and develop technicians through hands-on coaching
• Support service department processes, documentation, reporting, and operational improvements
• Help build a positive, accountable culture where technicians take pride in their work

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Previous leadership, supervisory, lead technician, or mentoring experience preferred
• Someone who is comfortable leading technicians while remaining hands-on in the field
• EPA Certification required
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service, and repair
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and coach others effectively
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
• A team-oriented leadership style with the ability to hold others accountable
