Job Description

This is a Full-Time Driver position delivering packages to Amazon customers! You will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community. You will start and end your day at Amazon's DII5 (2675 Aeroplex Drive, Elkhart, IN 46514) Warehouse. All equipment is provided.

We are looking for reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

Compensation, Benefits, & Scheduling:

• $22-$23/hour (paid weekly)
• Weekly performance and safety bonuses
• 3 days of paid training (2 days classroom, 1 day on the road)

Key Delivery Driver Duties & Responsibilities:

• Get in and out of a cargo van 150-200+ times throughout the day at various locations
• Lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Keep pace in physically demanding job
• Work in all weather conditions and on various routes
• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Use smart phone device routing and customer information
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You:

• Must be at least 21 years old 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

Military veterans are welcome!
Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
