Job Description
Oral Health Coordinator / Educator | Indianapolis, IN | $32/hr
Seeking an Oral Health Coordinator to promote oral health education and preventive care across skilled nursing facilities, schools, early learning centers, and community settings. The role will provide training to CNAs, school nurses, educators, families, and community partners while supporting outreach programs and improving oral health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver oral health education and training sessions
- Create educational materials, guides, checklists, and digital resources
- Collaborate with SNFs, schools, healthcare teams, and community organizations
- Promote oral health awareness among children, families, seniors, and vulnerable populations
- Support health fairs, community events, and school-based programs
- Assist with program planning, data collection, reporting, budgets, and grant proposals
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to healthcare and education staff
Requirements:
- Rate: $32/hr
- Location: Indianapolis, IN
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Dental Hygiene, Public Health, Education, or a related field
- Experience delivering health education or training programs
- Knowledge of oral hygiene, common dental conditions, and preventive care
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop engaging and accessible educational materials
- Public health, data management, program evaluation, and grant-writing experience preferred
- Familiarity with SNF, school health, and community outreach settings preferred
