CT Technologist Shift Notes

12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Occasional overtime opportunities may be available during the week. This position involves a total of 36 hours per week.

Weekend Requirements

Participation in the shift and holiday rotation is required.

Job Description

Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, the CT technologist will perform all diagnostic procedures with comprehensive knowledge in pertinent academic areas to yield consistent and high-quality imaging examinations. The technologist will collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff, prioritizing patient care above all else. This role requires the ability to perform necessary procedures on patients across all age groups.

This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including newborns to geriatric patients.

Time Off Policy

Any requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be indicated and verified at the time of application submission. Requests for RTO made after submission or during the interview process will not be accepted. A maximum of 5 days of RTO is allowed, with fewer days preferred.

Travelers cannot take all holidays off. Must be available to work during:

• Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and the weekend following
• Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the weekend following
• New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and the weekend following

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Imaging/CT experience is required.
• Must possess ARRT (CT) certification.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.
• IV skills are a requirement.
• Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, and OEC C-arm is highly preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Temp License is available for those who have applied for it.
• Must have a personal vehicle, as this is a small community without public transport.
