Cook Job Details
Saturday – Wednesday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM | $[Pay Rate]/Hour
Overtime possible based on business needs
Days Off: Thursday & Friday
Cook Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a related food preparation role required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and various cooking methods required
- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, storage, and food safety regulations
- Must be able to obtain required food safety certification
- Ability to work Saturday through Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen and food service environment
- Ability to follow recipes, production guidelines, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to wear required uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
About the Cook Role
As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items according to established recipes and production guidelines
- Using different cooking techniques and methods to consistently prepare high-quality food
- Preparing ingredients and organizing workstations before and during meal service
- Following proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Maintaining appropriate food temperatures and following established food safety standards
- Measuring and portioning ingredients accurately according to recipes
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitoring food quality, freshness, taste, and presentation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area
- Properly storing ingredients and prepared foods to maintain quality and prevent waste
- Following production guidelines and workplace safety procedures
- Collaborating with other kitchen and food service team members to ensure timely meal preparation
- Wearing required uniforms and PPE while performing assigned duties
- Supporting daily kitchen operations during busy meal periods
- Performing additional cooking, food preparation, and kitchen duties as assigned
