Retail Assistant Manager

The Retail Assistant Manager will support the smooth operation of a boutique store by supervising a small team and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves managing inventory, training staff, and maintaining efficient store operations using various software tools. Occasional travel may be required to support multiple locations or attend training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small team of under 10 staff members
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock control
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Conduct staff training and development activities
• Create and manage employee schedules effectively
• Oversee merchandising to maintain an appealing store layout
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile cash drawers
• Ensure smooth daily store operations using POS, inventory, and scheduling software

• 2+ years of experience in retail management
