About the Role:
E & J Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL-A Driver to join our growing team in Deep River, CT. Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal and state DOT regulations
• Transport and deliver MSW (municipal solid waste) to designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation (paper or electronic)
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required - Minimum of 3 years over the road or 4 years on local deliveries, working for the same company for two years. 
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Experience operating Class A vehicles
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
