Class A Driver

General Functions and Scope

Prepare orders, load and unload trucks, deliver to customer over established route adhering to all company work rules and DOT regulations.

Essential Functional Areas of Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty Class A vehicles, including trucks with trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Operate a dozer to perform various tasks such as grading, leveling, and earthmoving at construction sites and environmental projects.
• Handle and transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Hazmat handling guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have direct reports.
