Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) PM Shift

Assisting with Daily Living Activities:

1. • Help patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

3. Mobility Assistance:

   • Assist patients with mobility and ambulation, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
4.  

5. Feeding and Hydration:

   • Assist with feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and ensure that patients stay hydrated.
6.  

7. Observation and Reporting:

   • Observe and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
8.  

9. Patient Comfort:

   • Ensure that patients are comfortable and assist with repositioning to prevent pressure ulcers.
10.  

11. Maintaining Cleanliness:

    • Keep patients' living areas and equipment clean and orderly.
12.  

13. Medical Equipment Use:

    • Assist with the use of medical equipment, such as mobility aids, bedpans, and other assistive devices.
14.  

15. Infection Control:

    • Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infections.
