Hot Oil Truck (Hazmat and Tankers) CDL - A2401 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK 73160, USA | Full-TimeSilver Star Construction, a local road construction company, is looking for an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely hauling and delivering materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, and dust between job sites and designated locations. Home every night!Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a dump truck while transporting and delivering construction materials.Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and equipment are in safe operating condition.Safely climb on and off the truck as needed during loading, unloading, and securing materials.Follow established truck maintenance and service schedules.Operate safely and effectively in changing weather and jobsite conditions.Assist with snow and ice removal operations when needed, including plowing and spreading salt or sand.Follow company policies, DOT regulations, and established safety procedures.Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.Skills & AbilitiesStrong hand-eye coordination, hearing, and overall physical ability.Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and jobsite personnel.Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safe operating practices.Knowledge of and commitment to following applicable safety requirements.Ability to understand and properly operate all truck controls and equipment.Demonstrated ability to safely brake, turn, maneuver, and operate the vehicle.Knowledge of proper dumping procedures.Understanding of safe and secure loading practices.QualificationsMust be able to remain seated and operate a vehicle for extended periods.Valid Class A CDL required.Minimum 2 years of verifiable DOT driving experience required.Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.Must maintain a clean driving record with 2 points or less.Must satisfy all applicable Federal DOT requirements.Must be capable of completing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Must be available to work nights and weekends as business needs require.Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.BenefitsCompetitive PayComprehensive Company BenefitsMedical, Vision, Dental & Life InsuranceShort-Term Disability401(k)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Driver BonusSilver Star Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
