Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part-Time, PRN & Weekend Shifts

About the Role

Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. We are currently hiring for part-time, PRN, and weekend positions, with a particular need for 3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM coverage.

This is a great opportunity for CNAs looking for flexible scheduling, additional hours, or consistent weekend work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Current scheduling needs include:

• 7 AM–3 PM: Weekend coverage needed

• 3 PM–11 PM

• 11 PM–7 AM

We are especially interested in reliable CNAs who can consistently pick up shifts and help provide dependable coverage on evenings, overnights, and weekends.

What You’ll Do

As a CNA, you will play a key role in daily resident care, including:

• Providing hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning

• Monitoring and reporting vital signs and changes in resident condition

• Supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Assisting nursing staff with delegated tasks, treatments, and procedures

• Documenting care provided and observations accurately and timely

• Communicating concerns or changes in condition to licensed nursing staff

• Promoting resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment

What We’re Looking For

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in North Carolina

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts

• Availability for evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts is highly valued

• New CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply
