Custodian

Pay: $15.38/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Assignment Length: 3-6 Months
Location: Springfield, MO

Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable individuals to assist one of our Springfield-area clients with custodial and facility maintenance duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping buildings and grounds clean, organized, and well-maintained.Requirements

• Ability to perform general custodial and janitorial duties
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
• Ability to work at heights when necessary using ladders, aerial lifts, and other approved equipment
• Ability to respond to visual and audible safety alarms
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning, maintenance, and janitorial upkeep of assigned areas
• Clean and maintain floors, windows, restrooms, office spaces, and plant equipment
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout assigned work areas
• Complete outdoor grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weed eating, fertilizing, spraying, and snow removal as needed
• Maintain inventory of janitorial and cleaning supplies
• Follow all company safety procedures and encourage safe work practices
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by management
