We're seeking a Construction Sales Executive for building automation in the Los Angeles area to generate new construction revenue and grow regional controls sales through established relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan for commercial construction and controls opportunities.
• Use an existing book of business to build the pipeline.
• Pursue new accounts through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
• Migrate legacy control customers to updated platforms.
• Present proposals, scope comparisons, and pricing to owners, engineers, and contractors.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering so sold work delivers well.
• Keep forecasts, pipeline, and activity reporting accurate.
• Attend industry events and association meetings.

Must-Haves

• Construction sales experience in building automation or commercial HVAC controls.
• An existing network of owners, engineers, and contractors in Los Angeles.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with legacy control platforms such as Siemens and current migration paths.
• Technical controls background.
