Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, such as vans, to deliver products to retail stores and clients across designated routes
• Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills and route driving knowledge to optimize time
• Load and unload merchandise, practicing safe lifting techniques and heavy lifting practices to prevent injury
• Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally and building positive relationships
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure vehicles are in excellent condition for safe driving

• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
• Ability to lift up to 50 pound packages safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and delivery documentation effectively
