Teacher ? High School/Middle School Special Education - 10 month position

Bonnie Brae is seeking a full time Teacher capable of working in a team environment and willing to teach a variety of subjects as needed. Many of the students have struggled in school and have a variety of academic backgrounds and functioning levels. The Teacher must be creative, hardworking, flexible and able to engage students in hands-on learning.

Candidate will possess the following:

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree.

· Certificate: CE, CEAS, or Standard

· Current letter of approval from the Office of Criminal History Review.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Experience:

· Operates from a personal code of ethics.

· Skilled in methods of effective classroom management.

· Skilled in methods of managing student behavior.

· Able to supervise students in structured and unstructured situations.

· Capable of writing clear, informative, grammatically correct evaluative reports.

· Capable of basic computer literacy.
