HVAC Project Engineer

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking an HVAC Project Engineer in Orange County to support delivery of large commercial mechanical projects, including hospitals and healthcare campuses, from preconstruction through closeout.

Impact

• Help keep multi-million-dollar HVAC and sheet metal projects on schedule and on budget.
• Build a technical foundation beside experienced project leadership.
• Support installations that affect building performance and occupant health.

Responsibilities

• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders in Bluebeam and project platforms.
• Help develop schedules, budgets, and procurement logs.
• Resolve day-to-day issues with superintendents, subcontractors, and owners.
• Document action items and decisions from project meetings.
• Track material deliveries and equipment lead times.
• Support closeout, including as-builts and O and M manuals.

Must-Haves

• Project engineering or field experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction.
• Bluebeam proficiency and strong documentation discipline.
• Clear communication with field and office.

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Healthcare project exposure.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Onsite in Orange County.
