ALC Service Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking an ALC Service Technician for the Los Angeles and Orange County area to maintain, troubleshoot, and tune DDC controls for commercial facility clients.

Impact

• Reduce downtime by fixing controls issues before they become failures.
• Improve energy efficiency through precise calibration and tuning.
• Keep active accounts happy with reliable, responsive service.
• Extend equipment life through proactive maintenance and early fault detection.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Calibrate and reprogram Automated Logic and Tridium Niagara systems.
• Troubleshoot BACnet communication faults and integrations.
• Perform point-to-point verification and functional testing after repairs or upgrades.
• Respond promptly to service requests and resolve on site.
• Document visits, parts, and system changes.
• Coordinate service with facility engineers and operators, and flag upgrade opportunities.

Must-Haves

• Hands-on experience servicing DDC controls in commercial facilities.
• Automated Logic or Tridium Niagara experience.
• Valid driver's license for service calls across the region.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Belimo hardware.
• Exposure to Alerton or Distech platforms.

Compensation and Logistics
