Dietary Aide Per-diem in Staten Island

Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay Rate: $19 PER HOUR (Weekly Pay)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Dietary Aides to join our dedicated team at a long-term care nursing facility in Staten Island, NY. As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
• Ensure residents receive meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Support the Dietary Manager and kitchen team as needed
• Help create a positive dining experience for residents

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Dietary Aide in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and coworkers
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
