Make precision parts that keep heavy equipment moving

Picture your day in Lincoln, NE: you clock in, load up an Okuma LU4000‑EX or another CNC lathe, and turn raw stock into critical hydraulic components that bring industrial, agricultural, construction, and heavy equipment back to life. You’ll program, set up, and machine parts, then verify, troubleshoot, and fine‑tune until everything runs flawlessly.

What you’ll do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes (including Okuma LU4000‑EX) and shop equipment to produce shafts, rods, housings, sleeves, fittings, valves, and other hydraulic/industrial components.
  • Create and edit CNC programs; reverse‑engineer worn or sample parts into new programs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints plus hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics/drawings.
  • Inspect parts, check measurements, adjust tooling and offsets, and perform basic machine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot machining and hydraulic issues; replace worn components; support rebuilds of pumps, cylinders, motors, and custom hydraulic assemblies.
What you bring
  • 1+ year of CNC setup/programming experience on lathes or the Okuma LU4000‑EX (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to create/edit CNC programs and reverse‑engineer parts into programs (required).
  • Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics/drawings.
  • Preferred background: hydraulic repair, pump rebuild, fluid power, industrial, construction, agricultural (AG), or mechanical repair/rebuild.
