Description
American Traveler is hiring an OR Interventional Vascular Tech with 1+ year of interventional vascular experience for a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center on a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Main OR setting within a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 0630-1700
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Patient population ranges from outpatient to critical care, including trauma cases
- Uses Siemens and GE equipment
- Charting via EPIC EMR
- Call requirements average 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
- Weekend hours as required by facility, by call only
- Floating limited to cardiac cath lab to support vascular cases as required by facility
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Vascular Tech experience required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ARRT or RCIS licensure preferred
- License required if applicable
- Surgical scrub experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
- Coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
- Facility-provided scrubs required; no other attire permitted
- Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with no declinations accepted
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Accepts local candidates, though local bill rate is reduced
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
