Job Summary – Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Produces high-quality diagnostic images using imaging and computer equipment while meeting departmental and industry standards.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, positioning, and image quality.
- Prepares patients for procedures, provides age-appropriate education, and addresses questions or concerns.
- Applies radiation safety, infection control, and quality control practices to protect patients and staff.
- Demonstrates proficiency in imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient positioning.
- Provides safe, patient-centered care while considering age, developmental, and functional needs.
- Supervises and trains students during clinical patient care and procedures.
- Maintains compliance with radiation protection standards and minimizes unnecessary exposure.
