Senior Tax Consultant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $65.00 to $79.00 per hour.

• Manage tax related projects and oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of complex tax filings and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure tax work is completed accurately and within established timelines.

• Review tax returns, schedules, and workpapers to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.

• Oversee information gathering processes, including the collection and tracking of tax related documentation from multiple sources.

• Support process improvement initiatives, including transitions involving tax providers, systems, or reporting workflows.

• Approximately 7+ years of progressive tax experience with demonstrated leadership or project ownership responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of investment fund taxation, partnership taxation, and related tax reporting requirements.

• Previous experience managing external tax advisors, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating tax compliance activities.

• Ability to oversee multiple projects, deadlines, and reporting requirements with minimal supervision.

• Prior experience leading tax process transitions, implementations, or operational improvement initiatives.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, quality control, and self review.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, documentation, and competing priorities.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to resolve complex tax related issues.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.

• Self motivated and dependable work style with the ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment.
