CNC Machinist

Location: Columbia City Indiana
Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Zing Recruiting is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a manufacturing team. Multiple levels are available based on experience and skill level.

CNC Machinist I — $25–$28/hour
CNC Machinist II — $29–$34/hour
CNC Machinist III — $35–$39/hour

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, process prints, and setup sheets
• Perform machine offsets and minor program adjustments
• Select, maintain, and modify tooling as needed
• Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools
• Troubleshoot tooling and programming issues
• Maintain production records and follow safety and Lean manufacturing practices
• Assist with training other team members

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of machining experience preferred
• CNC mill and/or lathe experience
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience with machine setups, offsets, and tooling
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Strong knowledge of machine shop math and machining processes
