Title: Product Engineer
Department: R&D
Qualifications
- Display a depth of knowledge across multiple technical areas including current knowledge of existing and emerging technologies
- Require minimal supervision to successfully complete tasks and assignments
- Must demonstrate initiative and ownership of assignments/projects
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing with executives, colleagues and individuals, internal or external
- Bachelor’s degree plus experience in CAD design
- The employee will be required to conduct work in the engineering lab or assembly areas
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent US Resident, or currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without current or future employment sponsorship
- Post offer applicants must pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Product review, design, improvement, and prototyping, create detailed CAD models.
- Run structural tests on prototypes, coordinate performance tests and develop improvements.
- Coordinate designs with product managers, marketing, and manufacturing or software teams.
- Update and improve existing products based on user feedback and cost analysis.
- Write clear technical specifications, manuals, and project reports, SOPs, CARs, and technical drawings.
